Hello, my name is Erin Veasey. I’m a RDMS & RVT sonographer with two decades of experience working as a clinical sonographer, teacher and educational specialist. I’ve worked in both general imaging departments and vascular labs performing abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, MSK, and vascular ultrasound exams. As the founder of Esonography, LLC. my passion is helping educate sonographers to enhance and improve their practice. This vascular ultrasound online course is designed specifically for registered sonographers who are interested in professional development, additional credentials, and providing a high standard of patient care. It’s intended to give sonographers clinical confidence while preparing participants to sit for the vascular technology exam.
The Goal is simple:
To create vascular ultrasound learning success stories!

Study Tips
Create a Schedule and Stick to it
Esonography includes a schedule for our courses, or you can create your own. The key is to create a realist schedule that includes breaks. Remember consistency is important. Stick to your schedule!
Cultivate a Productive Space
Find someplace to study that is free of distractions. Study smarter, not harder! While studying for the vascular registry I would stay 2 hours after work and use an empty ultrasound room to study in. It worked.
Active Learning
Engage in active learning. Try to scan as many vascular studies as you can throughout your work day. Esonography group study sessions options are included with each course and allow participants the opportunity to summarize what they've learned in their own words and teach concepts to each other.

Effective Note Taking
Develop a system of note taking that works for you. For me bullet points work best. In our Esonography lecture I've highlighted keywords. In addition our Esonography course includes a vascular outline that I recommend putting in your own words.

Utilize Multiple Learning Resources
Different formats can provide a well rounded understanding of a topic. Below I've mapped out the different formats that are offered with our course, but you can also look at the free vascular ultrasound resources
listed on this site

Take Breaks and Prioritize Self Care
Avoid long continuous study sessions without breaks. I always say keep your study sessions under 2 hours. Some recommend for every 25 minutes studying take a 5 minute break. Short breaks can help maintain
focus and prevent burnout.
